Some Opportunities for you to consider:

We need a couple of volunteer drivers
to go and pick up perishable items at several of our donor locations. You need a larger sized vehicle, a valid driver's license and car insurance. The first opportunity is for Monday mornings for a 10AM pick up in south Nashua. The other is a more flexible opportunity that can be discussed with our kitchen manager, Kyle. Ongoing opportunities:
Daytime Volunteers Needed —
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
We need help any time between 8AM - 3PM. Hours are flexible. You choose the number of hours you would like to volunteer. Tasks may include unloading deliveries, sorting through perishable food donations, helping restock the food pantry, bagging up bulk bakery items, preparing foods for our evening meal or whatever needs to be done at the time you are here. If you would like to be added to our schedule, please call our kitchen staff at 889-7770 or e-mail our kitchen manager, Kyle, at kyle@nsks.org . We look forward to your help!
Food Drive Coordinators:
Would you be able to coordinate a food drive at your workplace, civic group, school, college or place of worship? We encourage you to collect a variety of items from our wishlist. Non-perishable food items are distributed once a week on Mondays to families who can sign up one time a month for this emergency box of food. Our food pantry needs to be replenished every week and a food drive coordinated by you would be a tremendous help to us! Dinner shifts:
Volunteer hours Monday - Saturday 3:45PM - 6:30PM Sunday 11:45AM-2PM Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks including but not limited to serving the evening meal onto trays, pouring drinks, serving desserts, cleaning tables, scrubbing pots and pans, washing dishes, etc. Thank you for your interest in this position. Since we serve dinner every day of the year, please contact our kitchen staff to see what is currently available. Staff can be reached Monday - Friday, 9AM - 5PM at 889-7770 to schedule your volunteer time!
You must be scheduled to volunteer.
Volunteers must be at least 12 years of age
to help at the Nashua Soup Kitchen.

The Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter is open every day of the year. Volunteers are needed all year round for us to succeed at what we do. Please feel free to call anytime Monday - Friday, 9AM - 5PM to see what dates are available to help serve dinner, sort perishables in the morning, be an on-call, fill-in driver for pick-ups or ask what other opportunities may be available.
